- Editor's Notes
- I have your letter of 5th instant, in regard to the lecture which you are to give before the Electrical Section in Altoona on the evening of December 9th. We will send one of our men from the Laboratory with a complete equipment to assist you in connection with this lecture. I will have a variety of musical cylinders prepared, and I am setting up a set of Morse instruments for the purpose of recording in the phonograph some messages which will be send you in that way by Mr. Edison himself, and which will be reproduced in Altoona by the Phonograph. I suppose our man should leave here on December 8th? [ILLEGIBLE BRIEF PS]
