Title
[LB033458], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Gesellschaft Urania, Max Wilhelm Meyer, November 7th, 1889
Editor's Notes
I have your esteemed letter of the 19th of October, and in reply beg to say that two of the phonographs sent to Prof. Helmholtz were specially designed for the Gesellschaft Urania. I have given instructions for a supply of necessary parts to be forwarded to you immediately, and I trust they will reach your hands safely. ### In regard to an exhibition of models of my inventions, I should be very happy to comply with your request were it possible for me to do so. At the present time, however, all my apparatus is in use, and at the moment there is nothing available that I could forward to you. ### Perhaps later I may be able to send models of some of my inventions, and will be glad to do so if it is at all practicable. ### I am greatly indebted for the photographs of your excellent institution, and beg to complain." Very truly yours, [signed] TAE
