- Title
- [LB034010], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Anna Lankow, November 11th, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- With reference to your letter without date addressed to our Mr. Hagen, asking if it would be convenient for you to come to the Laboratory and sing to the phonograph, in reply we regret very much to state that just at present it is impossible for us to set apart an afternoon for this purpose. We are very busy getting out musical cylinders, and have musicians, bands &c., &c. engaged to play to the phonograph every day for the next month. Were it not for this we should be very pleased to avail ourselves of your kind offer, and the first opportunity that occurs we shall be pleased to communicate with you. Very truly yours, EDISON LABORATORY. AO Tate
