I have received your esteemed letter under date 5th instant, and I beg to give you a formal order for a 300 horse power Triple Expansion Engine and Condenser. Kindly ship these at once by Compagnie Transatlantique line of steamers from Havre, addressed, "THOMAS A. EDISON, NEW YORK." I shall be glad to have you cable me the name of the steamer which carries this shipment, so that I may arrange fro its reception upon arrival. I am very pleased to know that you are making complete working drawings and photographs, which I trust I will receive very soon. ### I take pleasure in enclosing herewith a few words in my own handwriting, and am much honored by your request for this.
