Title
[LB034211], Letter from John F Randolph to Edison Phonograph Works, A MacGruthar, November 25th, 1889
Editor's Notes
I beg to ask you to correct the error which you have made as per your letter of the 23rd inst. regarding the information which you gave Mr. Butter about my using money belonging to the Edison Phonograph Works as I have not personally taken any moneys belonging to them without asking their permission and the money used by me on Saturday Mr. A.O. Tate the Secretary of the Edison Phonograph Works instructed Mr. Hamilton Miller to draw a check to Mr. Edison order for $2500.00/ which he did and the check was given to me by Mr. Tate, and if there is any fault to be found you should send you letter to Mr. Tate and I have done nothing to receive such a letter from you containing these instructions and you will greatly oblige me by giving this information to Mr. Butter as I have no wish for having him blame me when I am not entitled to it. Very truly, John F. Randolph
