Title
[LB034257], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Harry Fondersmith, Pennsylvania Railroad, November 26th, 1889
Editor's Notes
In further reference to your letter [unclear] inst. I cannot calculate [unclear] from the data given me the quantity of current which we should consider standard for [unclear] line. It seems to vary with the different wires. ### Will you kindly let me know what fraction of an engine we can adopt for a standard after which I will immediately submit to you a proposition which will add greatly to the convenience and [unclear] of operating your circuits so far as the [unclear] end is concerned." Yours very truly, AO Tate [marginalia after signature: "Should you not have this information currently at hand may I send one of Mr. Edison's assistants to make a few measurements of your mines?"]
