- Referring to your letter of 20th instant addressed to the Edison Phonograph Toy M'f'g. Co., relative to the sale of their European business, I notice that the consideration which you name to the Company is, One Hundred Thousand Pounds, Sterling, in cash, and twelve and a half per cent. of fully paid shares in the foreign Company so formed. I have always understood that the proposition was to give the Company 25% fully paid shares – not 12 1/2%. Yours truly, AO Tate
