Title
[LB034471], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Edwards & Co, December 7th, 1889
Editor's Notes
With reference to your letter of 2nd instant to our Mr. Randolph, I beg to advise you that your bill was referred to for approval to Mr. Edison, who reports that the bells at her house are still in very bad order, the defects complained of not having been remedied at all. I note your man's return, enclosed with your letter under reply, to the effect that he tested house and found nothing wrong, and would suggest that when he again visits Llewellyn Park (and we would like him to do so at once), he inquire for Mrs. Edison, who will point out to him the trouble. What she complains of is, that she cannot ring one bell without sending several other bells. When this defect is remedied, your bill will be passed upon and check in settlement promptly rewritten. Yours very truly, Chas. Batchelor
