Dec, 9, 89 Major S.B. Eaton, 120 Broadway, New York In reference to the attached correspondence, Mr. Edison desires to license the A.B. Dick Company to manufacture Mimeographs in the United States for export, for a nominal royalty, say five cents on each machine. As one of the considerations of the granting of this right, Mr. Edison desires it to be stipulated that no foreign Companies for the exploitation of the Mimeograph abroad are to be formed, without his written consent.
