Referring further to your letter of 13th instant, in regard to our suits for sustaining U. S. Patent #248,424, I have no records here to show whether the corresponding Italian patent has expired or not. The records of the European Co. might show it, and if it is possible for you to wait until I can get into town to examine these records, I shall be very glad to do so and advise you of the result of my search.
