- With reference to your letter of 23d instant, addressed to Mr. Edison, I enclose herewith check to your order for one hundred and fifty dollars ($150), receipt of which please acknowledge. Pursuant to your request, check for $52.89 was sent several days ago to Messrs. Cos & Williams, Denver, Colorado, to cover premium on your life policy, receipt for which, if received by us, shall be forwarded to yourself. Your various letters and samples of ore have all been [unclear] and are having attention in our Ore Milling Department. The cans of N.C. honey which you mention have not yet been received at the Laboratory, nor at Mr. Edison's residence. Yours truly, A.O. Tate
