My dear Mr. Edison,-
Your several memorandums came to hand this morning, and I am sending you today via U.S. Express a box containing 100 slides. Dr. Deems says that he will forward to you the balance of the slides as rapidly as they are prepared. The microscope stand is included in the box with the slides.
I communicated today with Hopkins of the "Scientific American" and informed him that his article is all right; that he stated that he would like no old machine, and Walter Miller will send him one tomorrow.
I enclose herewith reports of Messrs. Atwood, Aylesworth, Dickson and Ott; also copy of report for week ending Feb. 22nd, received this morning from Alex Elliott, Jr., Attorney
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
