March 12, 90 Major S.B. Eaton, 120 Broadway, New York City. Dear Sir:- I am very much obliged for your letter of 10th inst., in regard to proposed assignment of patents from Mr. Edison to the Australasian Electric Light, Power & Storage Co., Limited, and Note that in your opinion it is perfectly proper for Mr. Edison to execute the assignment in the form proposed if the patents named in the schedule thereunto annexed have ever been granted. Enclosed with your letter under reply were the following copy of agreement between Mr. Edison and the Indian & Colonial Co., dated March1, 1883; copy of Assignment of Patents &c., dated the day of, 1889, and copy of postponed assignment to be executed by Mr. Edison, all of which were sent to you by myself.
