Dear Sirs:-
We have been referred to yourselves by The Edison Machine Works for information in regard to skeining machinery. We have a process at the Laboratory which requires a machine for winding cotton thread from the skein to the bobbin, and desire a machine that will wind from 10 to 16 spools of thread, of which we enclose sample herewith. The size of skein is 14 inches, and the spool upon which the thread is to be wound is 6 1/4 inches long, 6 3/4 inches diameter. Please inform us by return mail at what price you could furnish us with such a machine, and oblige.
Yours truly,
Edison Laboratory
