March 19, 1890 Daniel Weld, Esq., Sec'y Edison Phonograph Toy M'f'g. Co., No. 95 Milk St., Boston, Mass. Dear Sir:- I beg to confirm the following telegram sent you this morning:- "Have received copy of Yeoman's last letter sent by you. We learn from Mr. Insull, who has just returned from Europe, that Yeomans is doing your interests an incalculable amount of injury and reflecting discredit upon Mr. Edison personally. His action amounts to nothing less than absolute abuse of the power given him and his impertinent letters and cables to the Company are intolerable. I feel confident that you will cable immediately and sever all connection with him, which is necessary for your own protection and in justice to Mr. Edison. Please advise me when you have done so and do not lose an hour that can possible be saved. A.O. Tate." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate Private Secretary
