Dear Sir:-
Referring to your telephone conversation of this afternoon with Mr. Maguire, I enclose herewith letter under date 14th Feb., 189, rec'd by Mr. Edison from Messrs. Weyher & Richmond, to the effect that they sent on 12th ult. the necessary places to make an addition to the engine furnished by them some little time ago. I attach hereto a translation of the letter in question. I also enclose a cablegram under date 4th inst., rc'd by Mr. Edison from the same parties, stating that the "purgaur" want forward March 4th. These are the only advices we have received in regard to this matter; kindly return the same after you are through with them.
