March 22nd 1890
Edwin W. Hammer, Esq.,
No. 33 Rowland Street,
Newark, New Jersey.
Dear Sir:-
With reference to the attached bill, which was enclosed with your letter of 14th instant, I know of no arrangement whereby we were to pay the cartage on the Apparatus delivered to the Lennox Lyceum.
Mr. Edison agreed to loan this material Exhibition there, and the least the exhibitors can do, is to take them to wherever they ought to be pleased on Exhibition.
Please let me hear from you in regard to this matter, at your earliest convenience, and much oblige.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
