March 25th 1890
Major S.B. Eaton,
No. 120 Broadway, New York City
Dear Sirs:-
We are receiving right along from Col. Gouraud's office in London, orders for supplies for the Phonographs which are in use over there. These orders are, in themselves, small, such as, Rubber Ear Pieces, Glass Diaphragms, etc., but before recognizing any of them, I should like to know from you, if such action could be in any way complicate Mr. Edison's relations with the Edison United Phonograph Company.
The last order received from Colonel Gouraud's office, is dated March 15th 1890.
Very truly yours,
A.O. Tate
Private Secretary
