Dear Sir:-
I enclose herewith a letter received by Mr. Edison, from Mr. John L. Buckingham, of Hermosa, South Dakota, who owns a patent for the exclusive use of coal oil instead of water, in connection with the operation of rock drills.
Mr. Edison would like you to test this process, and report to him the result.
