Dear Sir:-
Confirming question asked you today by telephone, in regard to stock book of the Edison Electric Light Co., of Europe, please see if you have a good supply of these certificates signed by Mr, Batchelor as President. Mr. Batchelor is going away shortly and will be absent probably six months, and if there are not sufficient certificates signed by him, kindly forward the Stock Book to his house, #33 West 25th Street, with a note requesting him to sign a number of the certificates, so that should any transfers come up during his absence we may be able to make time.
