Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has received your letter of 2nd instant in regard to visiting the Brooklyn Edison Station on April 8th or 10th. He has already written Mr. Doty concerning this matter, and if he finds it at all possible he will be present on one of the evenings mentioned.
Mr. Edison is much obliged for the invitation extended to him by yourself, to dine with you at the Hamilton Club, but at present he cannot state positively whether he will be able to visit Brooklyn on either of the dates mentioned.
