Mr. Thomas Butler,
No. 44 Wall Street,
New York City
Dear Sir:-
With reference to the following message from Mr. Gilmore to Mr. Insull, which was telephoned from your office to the Laboratory today:
"We have no 500 Watt dynamos in stock, but could get one out by the middle of next week; please let us hear from you at once if it is required; if it comes through the office to the N.E. Ill Co., we shall be glad to receive from them an order for same."
and to your subsequent explanation of said message, we beg to confirm Mr. Insull's reply transmitted to you by telephone to the effect that you were to [illegible] instruct the people at Schenectady to go ahead and get out the machine.
Yours very truly,
Edison Laboratory
