Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 1st instant addressed to the Edison Lamp Co., in regard to an electric light for your new hose wagon, has been referred to us for reply.
It would be impracticable to attach a dynamo to a wagon. Mr. Edison, however, is now at work designing a battery for same in connection with electric lighting, which I think would answer your purpose admirably. This battery is expected to be ready in the course of a month or so, and if you will write us at the end of that time, we will be in a position to give you full particulars regarding same.
