Dear Sir:-
I beg to acknowledge receipt of your cablegram of 8th instant, of which the following is a translation:-
"The Marshal of the Imperial Court of the German Emperor, inquiries whether phonograph has been shipped. SIEMENS."
In reply to which I cabled you today as follows:
"Will ship phonographs for German Emperor in few days, advising steamer. EDISON."
