April 11/90 John Hoey Esq Adams Express Co New York Dear Sir: Col Gouraud is in Washington for the purpose of obtaining for the purpose of obtaining from President Harrison and his cabinet phonograph messages to Henry M. Stanley. The messenger who bares this letter has with him a box of phonograms addressed to Col Gouraud care of the Presidents Private Secretary, White House, Washington.
