Orange, N.J. April 14, 90 A.O. Tate, Esq., Laboratory, Orange, N.J. Dear Sir:- We have your favor of April 12th enclosing copy of letter from Everett Frazar, of New York. We have this day shipped to Frazar and Company the following:- One case, 11 1/2 cubic feet, weight 185 pounds, contents one treadle machine complete except the body, marked "Frazar and Co., Yokohama, Japan. We have sent the 12 new spectacle arms with sleeve and nut arms complete, mentioned in Mr. Frazar's letter, as these new parts do not fit the old machine he has, and the difficulty of adjusting would be very great, and require the services of a skilled mechanic even then it is possible they would be unsatisfactory. We have sent the R.R. receipt directly to Mr. Frazar, at the same time acquainting him with the reasons given above for omitting part of the order. Yours truly, Edison Phonograph Wks.,
