April 18, 90 Samuel Insull, Esq., No. 44 Wall Street, New York City Dear Sir:- Replying to your letter of 15th instant, with which was enclosed a communication from Mr. Charles A. Cheovar, regarding the Edison-Gilliland German Patent #37,819. I beg to any that I am quite willing to bear my share of the expense in this connection but I should like to know how much I shall have to expand, of which please be kind enough to advise me.
