H.M. Livor, Esq.,
No. 10 Bey Street, New York City
Dear Sir:-
I enclose herewith a letter from Superintendent Glides, of Bechtelsville, Penn'a., also a letter from the Pennsylvania Diamod Drill and Manufacturing Company.
It seems to me that there must be something wrong with the bits, which are supplied by the Pennsylvania Drill Company. I would like you to take this correspondence over, and consult the American Diamond Drill Company of New York, asking them if we can obtain bits from them.
You can say to them that the drill which we have is an old chap, purchased by us some time ago, and in order that they may have a better understanding of the work to be done, I am sending to your office some of the cores which I received from Bechtelsville, and which you can show the American Diamond Drill people.
Yours very truly,
Thos A. Edison
