Dear Sir:-
I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 18th instant, to Mr. Edison, enclosing note of the Edison Iron Concentrating Company, to the order of the Merchants Loan & Trust Company for thirty five hundred dollars, dated April 28th, and payable in four months, and endorsed by Mr. Lewis Miller, Mr. W.S. Mallory, and yourself.
Mr. Edison has added his endorsement, and I have forwarded the note today to Mr. E.B. Mallory, No. 2235 Saint Paul Street, Baltimore, Maryland, in accordance with your request.
