John Birkinbine, Esq.,
No. 25 N.K. City Hall Square,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
My Dear Sir:-
I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 19th instant.
The first time I have an opportunity I will examine the Catoctin Furnace property in Maryland.
In regard to the properties back of West Point, I have had a magnetic survey made of these which took about a month to complete. The price asked by the Reading Iron Company is altogether too high for this property.
With relation to the papers concerning the Minnesota property I am having a search made for these, and will send them to you immediately they are found.
Yours very truly,
Thos A. Edison
