My dear Mr. Dickson,-
I have your letter of 31st instant.
We do not intend starting in Canada at all; the duties eat up all the profits, and until these are readjusted there is absolutely no money to be made in Canada by iron mining.
Mrs. Tate and the baby are both very well; the latter is progressing finely.
