April 23, 90 Benj. F. Stevens, Esq., President, The Edison Phonograph Toy Mfg. Company, #95 Milk St., Boston, Mass. Dear Sir:- I beg to confirm the following telegram sent you this afternoon:- "Your Company must not permit European transaction to go any farther until I have passed personal judgment upon underwriters. This point is vital. My consent is withheld subject to decision after list has been furnished me. T.A. Edison." Yours very truly, Thos A. Edison
