Dear Sir:-
I beg to confirm receipt of your telegram of today also my reply to same:
"Just received this: Yeomans will neither mail nor cable names until agreement signed. I have them in confidence. Probably go London Sunday. What your reply?
Daniel Weld, Sec'y"
"On my own behalf and on behalf of the Edison Phonograph Works, I refuse to ascent to Yeomans' proposition referred to in your telegram of today. Our decision is withheld subject to inspection of names of underwriters. This is an ultimatum.
