Dear Sir:
I am very much obliged for your letters 23rd inst. in regard to the Ogden Engine.
This engine ran successfully for six months at the Paris Exposition. It seems to me that this was a fair test. Do you see any objection to our starting it up, without change in view of the word it has proved capable of doing it its present condition.
Yours very truly,
Thomas A. Edison
