April 30, 1890
Major S.B. Eaton,
No. 120 Broadway, New York
Dear Sir:-
Referring to the attached correspondence from the Boston Company, in regard to royalties on dolls, Mr. Edison considers their request to have these royalties start from the first of April, a reasonable one. Will you kindly see Mr. Lippincott, and tell him that we were unable to commence the delivery of dolls until about the first of April, and ask him if he cannot see his way clear to comply with the requirements of the Boston Company.
Yours very truly
A.O. Tate
