Dear Sir:-
Referring to the attached letter from Mr. George G. Greiss, I cannot decipher the name of the place from which Mr. Greiss writes. Will you kindly address a letter to him, and tell him that Mr. Edison would like to receive samples of his ore. You understand the kind of samples Mr. Edison wants, that is, the run of the mine, not selected samples. Please request him to put a card in the box containing these samples, indicating that they come from him, so that they will not get mixed with other samples which we are continually receiving.
