Edison Phonograph Works,
Orange, N.J.
Dear Sirs:-
The following is an extract from a letter received by Mr. Edison from J. Block, Moscow, Russia, in regard to the phonograph sent him some time ago for presentation to the Czars
"I am making some brass connections, in order to simplify the means of attaching the tubes to the pipe, and also order a pretty wooden base, since the machine body marked on list of enclosures, was not enclosed with the phonograph."
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
