Dear Sirs:-
At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Edison Phonograph Toy Mfg. Co., held at Boston, Monday May 5th, 1890, the following resolution was passed:-
"That pending an investigation as to changing the style of dolls, to avoid defects in present style, the Secretary be instructed to ask the Edison Phonograph Works if it will suspend manufacture of dolls until further notice."
