My dear Sir:-
I beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 19th ultimo, in regard to the International Medical Congress, which is to be held in Berlin on the 4h of August next. The only matter of interest of which I can think now, is in a very successful experiment which I conducted of eliminating uric acid from the finger joints by the use of lithia, forced in and out of the finger by electrical [illegible]
Yours very truly,
Thos A. Edison
