Edison Phonograph Works,
Orange, N.J.
Dear Sirs:-
We are greatly inconvenienced in our office here, owing to your billing all goods for the manufacturing Company against Mr. Edison. We keep an entirely different set of books for the Manufacturing Company, and run it as a corporate concern from the Laboratory, and the bills which we receive from you against Mr. Edison we have to pass through our Laboratory books and then through the books of the Manufacturing Company. It causes double work in our office, and we wish you could see your way clear to open an account for the Manufacturing Company, and render against them bills for goods which are furnished by you upon their order.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
