Jan 21st, 1891 Mrs Thos. A. Edison Orange N. J. Madam, On Mar 7—1890 we sent the Calvary M. E. Church East Orange a check for $200.00 in payment of a [illegible text] which you signed as follows. “I hereby subscribe to 20 Shares of 10 dollars each towards liquidating the debts of this church payable in quarterly payments as follows: Sept 1 – 1889 - $50.00 Mar 1-1890 $50.00 Dec 1 – 1889 - 50.00 June 1-1890 50.00 Signed Mrs. T.
