January 23, 1891. Messrs. Herts Brothers, 894 – 896 Broadway, New York City. Dear Sir:- The chandeliers are unsatisfactory. Fifty per cent of the light is lost. The price is simply outrageous, in addition, even if they were all right. I will not have them in the room. If you remove them and deduct the amount charged, as well as some other overcharges, I will pay the bill. Yours truly, Thos A. Edison
