My dear Sir:-
Your letter of recent date is duly at hand, and I was very glad to hear from you.
I beg that you will accept my sincere thanks for the services which you rendered in connection with my brother’s funeral. All of the arrangements were satisfactory, and Mrs. Edison and myself feel very grateful for the kindness and sympathy manifested by you in connection with that sad event. Your kindness was very highly appreciated by us all.
Yours very truly,
