Dear Sirs:-
In reply to your letter of 29th instant, I beg to say that on the 27th instant Mr. Butler deposited with you check for $70,000, and on the 28th check for $5,000, which makes up the amount of $75,000 advised by me in my letter to yourselves under date 27th instant.
