Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 28th instant to Mr. Edison, informing him that his testimony is essential in a suit in Newark, is at hand. Mr. Edison desires to know when the suit in question comes off, and whether you desire him to go to Newark or if you will come to the Laboratory and take the testimony there. Mr. Edison is obliged to go to Schenectady either to-morrow (Sunday) or Monday evening.
