Edison Phonograph Works,
Mr. Henry C. Ware,
Orange, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
I have your letter of 30th instant, informing me that you have not received an official order for the twelve “new model” phonographs that you are building and which are now nearing completion.
I enclose herewith original order, dated Nov. 8, 1890, for six new model phonographs, received by me from the North American Phonograph Co.; also original order dated October 23rd, 1890, for six new style phonographs, received from the Edison United Phonograph Company. These two orders cover the 12 machines referred to in your letter now under reply. I also send you herewith original order dated Jan. 28, 1891, for 6 Nickel-in-Slot machines, received from the Edison United Phonograph Co. I sent to you on the 28th instant an order for these last named machines, which you will now please cancel, and substitute therefor the original order enclosed herewith. The machines referred to in the foregoing are to be charged direct to the parties ordering them.
Yours very truly,
