Dear Sir:-
In regard to [transfer?] of the [illegible text] mine lot, Mr. Pardee has referred me to Mr. John P. [Brown?] of Newfoundland N.J. Mr. [Brown?] informs me that there have been [illegible text] transfers of individual interests to the Sussex County Iron Co, [illegible text] there on record. He gives it as his [opinions?], [whenever?] that in case the stock of the Sussex Co. I. Co is purchased all stockholders will assign their private holdings, whatever they may be. But as [illegible text] John [illegible text] he could not [illegible text], he not being a stockholder.
The stock is held as follows:
A. Pardee 600 shares
John P. Brown & [Co.?] 200 “
[Heir?] of Albert R Riggs 200 “
