February 16, 1891.
George Parsons Lathrop, Esq.,
New London, Conn.
My dear Lathrop,-
Replying to your letter of 14th instant, Mr. Edison is still in Schenectady. I think it is possible that he may be home by Wednesday or Thursday next, but I cannot obtain any definite information on the subject. Just as soon as I am able I will advise you by wire and will name a time for you and Col. McClure to come out.
Yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
Private Secretary.
