Dear Sir:-
I beg to acknowledge receipt [illegible texts] drafts of Edison Gen’l. Electric Company and the Railway contracts. I have my memorandum typewritten, and before making any changes in the contract itself I wish to submit it to Mr. Edison and obtain his approval, after which I will communicate with you further.
