Personal
My dear Upton:
I met a man yesterday who told me he had just come from my Ink Factory on Bloomf Midland Avenue – that the gates are open or down – windows are being smashed and the building is open to any wanderer who may come along.
Mr. Edison wants you to have this attended to so that the place may be properly protected. He suggests getting some near resident to act as Caretaker at remuneration of say $10 per month –
Yours truly,
A. O. Tate
